Jewelry Display
I want to display-sell my jewelry at Nordstrom or Barneys.How can I contact their buyer?
Answer,”Try calling local Nordstrom/Barneys near you”doesn’t work.
You could try calling their corporate headquarters to set up a meeting but it probably wont get you very far. Instead, try calling and asking for their jewelery acquisitions officer or some such. If you can at least get the name of whoever makes the decisions you can send a letter directly to them along with a photo portfolio of your work.
This is probably one of those things that seems impossible to do if you go about it directly (like calling the nearest store) but if you’re creative about it and get in touch with the right people it may be possible.
